Eligibility Requirements
Applicant Requirements:
– Must be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
– Must apply from outside Canada

– Purchase medical insurance with coverage of at least $100,000 for 1 year
– Pass a medical exam if requested
– Show intent to return to home country after visit
Sponsor Requirements:
– Must meet the minimum income threshold (LICO)
– Provide proof of income and status
– Submit a letter of invitation including family details and financial support
Application Process
1. Gather required documents including passport, invitation letter, insurance proof, and financials
2. Submit an online application through the IRCC portal
3. Pay the processing and biometrics fees
4. Provide biometrics (if required)
5. Undergo a medical exam (if requested)
6. Await the decision and receive your visa or Letter of Introduction
7. Travel to Canada and present all supporting documents at the border
